Introduction to Reformer Pilates
Learn the basics of Reformer Pilates in this class for beginners. Perfect new comers or if haven’t used the a reformer before. You’ll learn how to set up the machine, breathe correctly and the foundations of reformer pilates. You can also choose to have three private lessons if you want extra help. Start your Pilates journey here and become stronger and more balanced!
Matwork Pilates
Embrace the challenge of Mat Pilates, a workout that adapts to all fitness levels while pushing every participant to new heights. This intense, yet accessible practice focuses on holistic body engagement rather than isolated movements.
Abs, Ass & Attitude – Level 1/2
This fun class is designed to stretch and strengthen the buttocks, abdomen, lower back and thighs. Preparing your for that perfect summer strout!
Men’s Pilates – Level 2/3
This Pilates class offers improved sport performance, decreased joint pain, and increased mobility, stability, strength, balance, and muscle control. Men in general have tight muscles in the shoulders, back, pelvis & legs, resulting in weaker core muscles and shallow breathing patterns. This will be your go to class for all your conditioning needs (Women are also welcome in this class).
Reformer Pilates
Experience the transformative power of Reformer Pilates. A versatile practice designed to accommodate and challenge practitioners of all levels. Whether you’re recovering from an injury, maintaining fitness, or pushing your limits. Discover how the resistance and support of the Reformer can amplify your practice. Helping you to better posture, core strength, and overall body awareness.
Pregnancy Reformer
Our Pilates for pregnancy classes provide pregnant mums safe Pilates exercise during pregnancy.These classes are aimed for second trimester and up clients. We add infinite modifications to suit our client’s individual needs. Our instructors are certified in Pilates pre and post natal. Take breaks when needed and keep your exertion levels manageable, but you will still get a great workout while you’re pregnant. If you are clear by your doctor to do Pilates for pregnancy, this is your class. Pilates for pregnancy will help you maintain and improve core strength in order to reduce lower back pain while pregnant, maintain pelvic floor strength and to help you reduce down time after delivery.
Mat Class – Level 1 & 2
At BASI Pilates we regard Pilates Mat Work as the ‘crown jewel’ of Pilates. You will learn the BASI Pilates Classical mat flow repertoire.
